What is the purity of silver and gold?
Pooja articles are made from 99% pure silver. Silverware is made from 92.5% hallmark sterling silver. Gold ornaments are made with 916 hallmarked Gold. You can ask purity of the item before making a purchase.
Why can I not purchase directly from your website?
Handmade items are subject to slight variation in weight and size. We want to confirm with you with image before you place an order with us so that you get what you see.
I have old silver. Can I exchange?
Yes, you can courier the items to us. We will melt it, test for purity, valuate it and adjust the value against new item purchased.
How do I make a payment?
You can make payment using any UPI app or remit amount to our bank account. UPI ID: shamakart@sib
Once I purchased, can I exchange?
Yes, you can exchange within 7 days of purchase. Please read our exchange policy for more details.
Does pure silver turn black?
When exposed to air silver reacts with sulphur in the atmosphere and turns black. Pls wrap silver in plastic and store.
How do I clean silver?
You can use Colgate toothpowder and gently rub with water. Do not use any chemicals to clean silver.
Is there a warranty for items?
Pooja articles are made to last. If you find a defect, however unlikely, you can get a replacement.
Can I place a custom size/design?
Please send us photographs of the item and we will try to make it.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping cost varies with the weight of the product and distance. A box with the dimensions 15x10x10 cm under 250g will cost around Rs.100 to Bangalore. Keep an eye out for offers on free shipping.
Is it safe to ship valuables online?
We have partnered with secure shipping companies to deliver your order. Your order will be delivered securely.
Can the item damage in transit?
We ensure good packing for all shipments to prevent it from damage while transit. Your order will be delivered safely.
What is one click tracking?
Once the order is shipped, you will receive the tracking link on SMS, email and Whatsapp. You can simply click on it to track the live status with estimated date of delivery. No need to copy paste the tracking number to another website.
How do I raise a grievance?
For any issues you can raise a grievance by calling or sending Whatsapp text to 9916939900
